How We Met
Me and my fiancé have been together 7 years, he worked on the oil rigs for 3 years in Alberta so we did the whole long distance thing. When he moved back for good I ended up getting pregnant (which was not part of our plans for a while) but we couldn’t imagine life without our son. 2 years later he got down on one knee at the dog park…
how they asked
April 23rd early Sunday morning we headed out for a stroll in the dog park. Little did I know it was more than just a stroll. We had our morning coffees in hand and begun our walk. As soon as we got into the woodsy part of the trails Martin began to tell me the sweetest things, he then pointed out a bird and pointed in a specific direction to distract me.
I grid looking to see what he was talking about but I couldn’t see it, as I turned back around Martin was on one knee holding a ring, our one-year-old son on one side and our dog on the other. That exact moment time stood still and It was simply perfection & of course, I said YES! It was the most perfect proposal I could ever ask for. We are getting married this September and I couldn’t be more excited!
