How We Met: Dan qualified as a top producer for an incredible trip to Europe through work. I couldn’t have been more proud with all the long hours he puts in each week. We extended the trip to 2 weeks and visited 4 counties. On the 3rd day we flew into Rome, our luggage was 2 hours late, we lost our kindle on the first flight and almost missed our first train but made it to the hotel. He took me everywhere in Rome I wanted to see never letting me on that he held a ring in his pocket the entire day. His family is Italian and he wanted to propose here and waited for a perfect opportunity, but it never felt right with so many tourists. As we got back to our room he walked out on our balcony overlooking the Pantheon & popped champagne. He said “I think we need to celebrate.” I was confused why we were suddenly celebrating. He told me what he wished for at the Trevi fountain. He said I made one wish and you make me the happiest person in this world and I can’t imagine spending any of it without you. My only wish was that you will say yes”. We faced timed family back home and emailed our friends this selfie!
