How We Met
Brian and I met at a college class at California State University Long Beach in 2011. He was a Marketing major and I was a Communications major. We never would have crossed paths if it wasn’t for a general education course! We both had a “crush” on each other but ended up going our separate ways. After several years – 5 to be exact – we reconnected and became close friends. I guess you could say we went from study buddies to lovers because fireworks were sparked in 2018, so we officially started dating. We’ve been inseparable ever since!
How They Asked
Brian proposed in the sweetest way possible by taking us on a journey of our love back to where it all began – Cal State Long Beach. After walking around campus, visiting the class where we first met 10 years ago, he took me to Newport Beach where we bike and paddle board every summer since we started dating. It had just finished raining so we had the beach to ourselves. It was such an intimate moment to share together while the sun was setting, listening to the waves behind us. Even sea lions were swimming and barking behind us! Our dearest friends helped make the night memorable and I couldn’t be more excited to take the next step in life with him.
