Kevin grew up in London and for our anniversary he surprised me with our first trip together to England and Paris. One morning while in Paris, we were walking and Kevin was telling me a story about the Pont de Bir-Hakeim bridge. The Pont de Bir-Hakeim bridge had been a special place for him as a teenager. He explained that it was a special place he went to spend time alone and relax, but that he no longer wanted it to be a special spot just for him. That’s when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
