How We Met
Steven and I met in college and knew each other for years before we ever started dating. He asked me to his fraternity’s mountain weekend, but I was already going with one of his friends (oops!). When we got back from that trip, we went on our first date and have been inseparable ever since.
How They Asked
Fast forward 5 years and we’re on my spring break (I’m a teacher) so we went to Charleston to see his family. On Friday night, we were going downtown to try out a new restaurant and we were supposed to have drinks with his dad before. Well, long story short, we never made it to drinks and he proposed before dinner!
I completely blacked out during the proposal and ended up grabbing the ring right out of the box! We headed to our dinner plans where he surprised me with his whole family and my two best friends! The next day, he planned lunch with my whole family back home! I had the most perfect weekend with the most perfect guy!
