How We Met
Katie and I have been together for 8 years. I spotted her at a university orientation day and told my mom, “Wow, that girl is not only beautiful but looks like she is genuinely so nice.” Low and behold, it’s nice in the day and she is literally the room across from mine when I open my door. I immediately called my mom and told her, “the girl is living across from me!” We started dating and that summer I knew that when I proposed, I wanted to do it with a yellow lab puppy.
How They Asked
8 years later, I felt it was the time and managed to keep our puppy, Essie, a surprise. A week before, she broke her foot and was put in an air cast with crutches (perfect timing). Nonetheless, the day went perfectly and we now have a new addition to our family.
