how they asked: After a long week in New York for fashion week I flew to San Diego for a weekend get away with my family at my boyfriend’s family beach house, on the sand in Del Mar. It was a perfect weekend (minus the humidity), and I didn’t think it could get much better until my ultimate dream came true. We were enjoying sunset cocktails on the patio, and Matt and I were taking photos (per usual) with the gorgeous beach behind us.
Then as I turned around Matt was on his knee asking me me to make him the happiest man ever and be his wife. All the while, buzzing above us came a plane with a banner spanning over the gorgeous ocean reading, “Will you marry me Kayla?”
No words to explain such a perfect day. From there we were whisked off to an intimate candle lit dinner with those we love most to share such a special moment. Thank you for hearing my story! I truly feel like the luckiest woman alive!
