How They Asked
On December 14, 2019 (almost exactly one year after we met) Jake took me on a hike to Lake Serene, the same hike we did on our first date. Once we made it to the snow-covered lake he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! One of his friends hiked up before us and caught the whole thing on camera.
After the hike, Jake took me home to a surprise engagement party. His house was filled with friends and family, including his parents who flew in from Idaho and my best friends who flew in from California and Colorado. We ended the night at SantaCon, where we met the year before. It was the best day ever! I can’t wait to marry this man!
