How We Met
2015 vs. 2020 ♥️ Same place, 5-year difference, and worlds apart. Michael and I are originally from Upstate NY. Back in 2015, we took a Finger Lakes wine tour trip, and that is where I first realized I loved Michael. We first met briefly in 2013, when I worked for an Engineering Firm under his father in NY. Then Summer 2014 came, and we ended up working side by side together in a shared cubicle at an Architecture firm. After that internship, we casually dated until I graduated from Marywood U and got a job in NC. We took this Finger Lakes wine tour to enjoy our last few weeks together before parting ways. After 3 days and roughly 20 wineries, lol, we decided that together is where we were meant to be [even if that meant long distance].
Almost a year later, Michael packed up home and joined me in the South. We’ve lived together in two apartments, bought a house, renovated it, and adopted a few furr babies while both becoming aspiring Architects…. This past Christmas we went back home to Upstate NY on the same wine tour as 5 years ago and now I get to MARRY HIM! Future Mrs. Harris! Life truly does come full circle and I’m so excited to see what else our future holds.
