How We Met
Eric and I met in 2011 through a mutual friend. First, there was texting; then, late nights playing Halo Reach. A month later, we went on our first date. Who knew everything would be closed on Main Street St. Charles on a Monday? No worries, there’s always Netflix and chill. Since then, we’ve been with each other constantly, whether spending Saturdays (not Mondays!) walking around Main Street or passing more late nights playing Destiny.
how they asked
After six years, Eric proposed on August 21st, 2017, during the Solar Eclipse. We were having a picnic, watching the moon creep in front of the sun, and during the darkness of totality, Eric asked me to marry him … perfect timing for the “diamond ring”.
Of course, I said YES.
