How We Met
We met four years ago while going out with friends. Who knew it would become something more!

One day he called my brother to tell him that he wanted to propose. However, he had no idea where to start. They did a lot of research and came up with an opened tent idea. As the braining storming begin, ideas started to formulate. Over the past two months, he has been working on building the tent with one of his best friends without me knowing. The days leading up to the proposal he kept telling me that we’re going to take fall photos because we haven’t had any professional photos in a while. The day of the “fall photo shoot” I had three change of outfits planned for our “fall shoot” (yes a little bit crazy).
We took an uber to Lake Michigan, he made me walk almost 20 mins to the proposal location. I had no idea what was going on and he kept saying we have to meet up with my brother who had the camera. As we were walking the lake front, I saw this huge opened wooden tent and I said to him “oh look someone is getting engaged”!
It still didn’t click in my mind that this was my proposal.
The moment I knew that this was for me was when I saw it in his eyes. And so, he got down on one knee and asked if I’ll marry him!
