How We Met
Kevin and I are both incredibly active and had met playing sports together. We shared a love of sports and outdoor activities, and I had immediately joined his family in their annual trip up to Vermont to ski at Mad River Glenn.

One of the coolest places is at the top of the Single Chair Lift. After a beautiful, snowy day of skiing, we took one final lift ride with Kevin’s dad and a few friends. Kevin asked if I wanted a picture, so I turned around to ski over to the trail map. When I turned back around, Kevin was on one knee! Kevin had skied all day with that ring in his pocket, and no one knew! We had the BEST run down the mountain, and when we got back, we surprised his Mom and other family and friends back at the lodge and called my family (got to surprise my Mom, and Dad already knew!). We celebrated with a night of drinking and ended up sledding (craft beers in hand). It was the perfect celebration after the perfect day.
