We had a regular school week and Cavan decided we should grab some coffee and some blankets and take his dad’s truck up to Peavine. It’s is about a thirty mile drive up hat feels like a ninety degree angle. Peavine has a three sixty view of the entire city. The sun was setting and our view of the sunset was amazing. We watched from one side and then Cavan went running down the other side of the mountain to see the view there. When I caught up to him I hugged him and he began telling me how much I meant to him. Then his heart pounded really hard and I basically knew. My engagement ring was hand crafted by my dad and my fiancé had carved the ring box out of oak. It was a very special and unforgettable day.
