How We Met
We met at school! We are both music majors, and we met in choir. The moment I saw him I thought he looked like Harry Styles. I knew I had to get to know him, so I told him I had nowhere to put my car keys while we performed. He put them in his car, which gave me the perfect excuse to get all our friends to get ice cream afterwards! I told him I read palms, just so I could touch his hand. 😉 We have been inseparable ever since.
How They Asked
My dream day! Whenever the 26th of every month comes around, I always talk about how it’s going to be a good day. He waited until June 26th to ask me to spend forever with him, because that’s the day I would love to get married! (Spoiler alert, that’s our wedding date!) He took me on a picnic, which we do at least once a week, to a special spot we go to every once in a while. It’s got a view of the lake, and a small waterfall next to the picnic table.
His best friend hid in the woods to the video after setting up flowers, a sign, fairy lights, and photos we have taken over the past year and a half. After I realized what was happening, I turned to look at him and he was down on one knee! I thought about everything he has helped me through, getting a dog together, transferring schools, and my mom’s death, he never left my side. He is my rock, my best friend, he makes me stronger, and I cannot wait to spend forever with him.
