How We Met
We met through a common friend about 8 years ago in Mumbai, India. We hit it off and Aaron asked me out on a date almost immediately. The date went well and I never looked back. I had no idea at the time, but that was my last first date.

Fall colors are one of my favorite things in the world and I can never get bored of them. We went on a cottage trip for the weekend with our close friends (who knew about what was going down). The trees in Ontario, Canada have turned and looking at the reds, yellows, and oranges made me really happy. I was having a perfect day while Aaron was busy scouting for the perfect spot. We parked our car by the lake and just before sunset, he took me for a long walk. We took pictures and returned to the pier where I saw something unusual. The only picnic bench on the pier had fairy lights and pictures- I thought we were crashing someone else’s surprise. I got closer and saw pictures of the two of us. Our friends, who were now hiding behind bushes playing paparazzi, decorated the bench. This was the most awesome surprise. I finally knew it was happening and Aaron went down on one knee and asked me to marry him. And I said “Yes”.
