How They Asked
Wrigley Field is a special spot for both of us, as we were raised to be die-hard Cubs fans. So we decided that it would be fun to go to a game with my best friend and her husband. Somewhere around the 5th inning, a man asked a woman to be his wife on the big screen. I always love it when that happens! About an inning later we decided to take a photo on the wall, and then all of a sudden he dropped down to one knee.
To be honest, I do not remember what he even said! I was completely in shock. Come to find out, he was holding onto this ring for 8 months. He said he knew he wanted to do it at a Cubs game, and I just happened to pick one late in the year and he just had to wait patiently!
