How We Met
Still trying to catch my breath!!! For all my loved ones that asked, here’s ONLY A PEAK into what James made the most magnificent day of my life.
James and I have been dating for almost 8 years and Sunday, 9/29/19, was the day we eagerly committed to forever.
How They Asked
This day truly was the most incredible and memorable day of my life. James had made plans for us to go out East to celebrate my recent graduation, little did I know, that would be the day James would propose.
When we arrived at our B&B I wanted to quickly drop our bags and head out for the day. As I pushed out the door, James called out from behind and said he had “forgotten his keys”. Unbeknownst to me, he was sneaking a ring into his pocket !!!
James walked out, took my hand, and asked if I’d like to take a walk through the B&B’s private gardens. As we walked hand in hand through the garden admiring the flowers, butterflies and perfect sunshine James began to recount our love story and tell me how there is no one else he could imagine spending the rest of his life with. BRING ON THE TEARS ❤️
He took my left hand, got down on one knee, and popped the question “Kaitlin, will you marry me?” I hardly let him finish before I screamed YES! With two shaky hands (both his and mine) he placed the ring on my finger and we committed to forever.
That day was unlike any other. If I could have one wish it would be to stay in that moment on an endless loop, but with James, I know that is only the beginning of many more memories to come.
