How We Met: Karl and I went to high school together, and I was a grade above him. My junior year we both had the same study hall. We sat on complete opposite sides of the room and never even spoke. As childish as he is, he decided to goof off one day and get us all in trouble- assigned seats it was! And wouldn’t you know it, I got moved right next to him. Angry at first because I wasn’t sitting with my friends, it all worked out because I gained the best friend of all!
how they asked: My best friend ever moved down to Virginia Beach about two years ago. I rarely ever saw her so I decided to make a trip down for a week! After being gone for three days he said “That’s it, you’ve had your fun. You can come home now!” (Which is funny because we only see each other on the weekends so it wasn’t like he hadn’t seen me all but three days ago!) and I just told him that he has to wait until the following weekend and I would fly home! One day, one of my friends asked me to go to a party with her so I went. It was a nice girls day! And after that we were going to go the the beach to have a evening picnic to see the moon because it was suppose to be HUGE! We get to the beach and are walking across the sand towards to ocean and I felt someone rub their hand across my back and I looked and there was Karl. So completely confused why he was there, he dropped to one knee asking if I would marry him! As confused and happy as I was, practically speechless, I wrapped my arms around his neck and cried yes! The most magical moment of my life. He drove over 500 miles to propose to me on the beach with my best friends there to video tape and take pictures. Truly the best night of my life! (So far!)
