How We Met
It all started at our best friend’s wedding. My best friend had a destination wedding , at the Hard Rock, Riviera Maya, Mexico. On July 31, 2014 we both attended a white party on the beach, both of our best friends were marrying each other and we were in the bridal party. We didn’t know each other, and didn’t know this wedding would change our lives. As we partied bare foot in the sand that night we were casually introduced, I didn’t realize at the time but I had just met the love of my life.
There was an undeniable chemistry and from that day forward we had eyes for no one but each other. The wedding was held on my birthday, August 2nd, and as fate would have it we were seated at the same table. We danced under the stars at their rooftop wedding and never left each other’s side since then. It was the best birthday of my life.

My dream vacation has always been Paris. All my life I dreamed of visiting the most romantic city in the world! This spring J.P. planned my dream vacation, he planned every detail of our trip to Paris and Monaco, including the most romantic proposal I could ever dream of! We arrived in Paris the morning of June 4th 2016. Our room wasn’t ready when we got there so we dropped our bags off and headed out to see the city. We spent the day walking Champs Elysees enjoying the beautiful weather. We stopped for lunch at the famous Laudrèe and had some world know macarons, my favorite ! We had dinner reservations later that night but first we planned to see the Eiffel Tower ! After we checked into our room and freshened up we took a cab to the the Eiffel Tower.
We walked along the grass and admired its overwhelming beauty and it hit us that we were in one of the most romantic spots in the world, it felt like a dream! There were 2 girls standing a few feet away, J.P. casually walked over to them and asked them to take a picture. As he walked back he said to me ” look over there at that women’s Chanel bag !” , knowing my weak spot for a designer bag I looked but didn’t see a person in sight. I turned around to ask him who he was pointing to and there he was down on one knee with the most beautiful ring!
He asked … and I said yes !! And I am so excited for the rest of our love story to unfold …
