How We Met
We met through a mutual friend during my junior year and his sophomore year of college. We are now both completing our degrees and planning our future together. I knew from very early on that I would marry him one day. He’s always been so patient, loving, and kind. I couldn’t ask for anyone better to love.
How They Asked
He was able to get the ring JUST before we left for vacation with my family. Seriously, he and my mom worked so hard to make sure he had a ring after my original ring continued to be delayed due to COVID-19. Apparently it was a very stressful time and I had absolutely no idea all of the hassle they were going through to make sure this happened.
We had planned to take a few cute pictures at the beach and that is when he planned to do it. He kept waiting for me to mention it and I never did so he finally said “do you want to do those pictures tomorrow?” And I said “sure!” without expecting a thing. That night, I couldn’t sleep at all because I had this weird feeling that something really good was about to happen but I didn’t want to get my hopes up in case he didn’t propose. Jokes on me because he did! During our pictures, he told me that he had a pose idea for us and then he got down on one knee and popped the question. I’ve never been so excited in my entire life. It was the best day.
