Joanna and Joshua
how they asked
We decided that in 2018 we were going to travel to Europe. I had already been, but this was his first time. He was very adamant about going to England, and although I wasn’t too fond of the idea I went along with it. We added a few days in France and returned back to England. He said he had a surprise date at Stonehenge and then the morning of he gave me a book from my favorite romantic movie “Pride and Prejudice.” He surprised me by taking us to the country and to Stourhead Garden where my favorite scene in that movie is filmed.
He rented out the Apollo and had a picnic set up right where the scene takes place. As I opened the book he had highlighted pages and then wrote a letter asking me to marry him. Whipped the ring out of his pocket and got down on one knee. He’s even had a photographer there to capture the whole thing! The most magical day and so thoughtful too. I can’t wait to marry this man next year! #justjones2019
