How We Met

Frank and I met 8 years ago when I was a sophomore in high school. I actually met him through one of my best friends Erin in high school. Frank is her brother. I remember before we started dating I was at the homecoming dance and he came up and said “Jess, would you like to dance with me?”. I thought this was a very special moment as most boys don’t ask girls to dance like that in today’s world. From that day on we were inseparable. Frank played football, basketball, and baseball. I played field hockey, basketball, and softball. We love sports and even went on to play football and field hockey in college at the same University together. My senior year of high school I won homecoming queen and he was the quarterback of the football team. Frank and I both graduated high school and went to Salisbury University where we both decided that we want to be teachers. I am so excited to see what the future holds for Frank and me. I knew God put us together for a reason 8 years ago:)

how they asked

Frank has always said how he wanted to go to New York for New Years Eve ever since we started dating. So for Christmas Frank got me a surprise trip to New York. He got me a pandora charm with hearts and two champagne glasses as well as a bottle of champagne withe the picture of the Wellington which is the hotel we stayed at. We arrived in New York on December 30th. We spent the evening exploring the major parts of New York City. The next day we ran to Tom’s Restaurant which is the place where Seinfeld was filmed. Him and his dad love Seinfeld and I enjoy watching it also so it was an awesome experience. We went back to the hotel and got dressed to walk around the city. We didn’t have any plans set so it was very relaxing and stress free. We decided to walk around central park. We got to this one spot where you can see the whole city and it is overlooking the ice skating rink. It was just beautiful. We decided to take a picture but instead of taking a picture Frank got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was the sweetest thing ever. We spent the night celebrating and I couldn’t be happier knowing I get to spend the rest of my life with him.
