How We Met
I met Brandon through my BOSS! The owner of so eventful, Marisa grew up in Lodi and she thought that Brandon and I would be a great fit because we are both the loudest in a room and pretty inappropriate at times. Marisa had Brandon follow me on Instagram months before we ever met and we exchanged a few messages here and there but nothing major.
One night, Marisa and I were out of town planning a wedding together and Brandon calls Marisa. He didn’t realize he was on speaker phone and when Marisa said she was with me, he said something SUPER inappropriate and I knew right then, he was someone I needed to meet. I laughed so loud he then realized he was on speakerphone and was thoroughly embarrassed.
I sent him a message on Instagram, we exchanged phone numbers and a week later we met face to face and I have been smitten since!
How They Asked
I am a crazy dog mom and organize a photoshoot for my handsome little guy every year for his birthday. Brandon has warmed up to my crazy ideas and was on board to be a part of this year’s birthday photo shoot! Being a wedding and event planner, I had a professional photographer lined up and ALL the details down to perfectly capture our little family!
Brandon is a farmer in Lodi, CA and it was important to him that we do the photos in his alfalfa fields so we set everything up for the most epic sunset photos.
Jenn (my amazing friend/photographer) was snapping away taking photos of the three of us and when I got up to try and call my spaz of a dog back to us, Brandon stayed on his knee and asked me to be HIS WIFE!!!!!
Unbeknownst to me, Brandon had arranged EVERYTHING with Jen and CLEARLY I wasn’t expecting it!!
I think it is a little funny that the wedding planner inadvertently planned her own proposal. I am over the moon and can not wait to spend forever with the best man I’ve ever met!
