How We Met
Through a mutual friend who threw us in a facebook messenger chat together. After talking for a couple days we decided to go on a date. We met at a bar and talked for 5.5 hours where I discovered that our “friend” had only met him the week prior at the ATM where they worked. He then informed me our friend said he should kiss me. We spent most days together after that and he took me and my 4 year old daughter on a lunch date. After about a month he told me that he loved me. Now I love more more with each day that passes and he makes me happier than anyone ever has. I am eternally grateful to our friend for introducing us!
How They Asked
He took me out to dinner for my birthday. We got home and watched tv for a little bit. When we were both tired…or at least I was we decided to go to bed. He just laid there staring at me and I jokingly said that if he didn’t turn the light off I was going to punch him in the face. He coyly presented the ring to me and shyly said “but I wanted to give you this” and proceeded to ask if I still wanted to punch him in the face. It was very typical of the humor we share in our relationship.
