How We Met
Mac and I met soon after I moved to South Carolina. He was stationed at Fort Stewart in Georgia. We talked for three weeks and we went to a bull riding event in North Carolina. That was the weekend I knew he was the one for me. We instantly fell in love that weekend. We knew it would be tough since we had to do a long distance relationship. It only made us stronger though. When Mac got out of the Army, we moved in together and a couple years later we’re finally engaged!

On January 30, 2016 Mac proposed! He had set up a photoshoot with our dog Griz. I thought we were taking photos for a website for couples with dogs. We went to Pepper Plantation. It has a pond, a barn, and a field with horses. It’s very beautiful. We took some photos and at one point I turned around and Mac was on one knee. Our dog had a huge smile on his face too! It was perfect!
