We were swimming at my best friend’s parent’s pool and he had dunked me under water. When I came up I turned around to yell at him and he had the ring in his hand. He just stared at me and I started asking “what are you doing?” “Are you serious?” “Is this a joke?” “Are you f****** kidding me?” To which all he could say was “what does it look like?” Eventually he did say “will you marry me?” Of course I said yes.
