How We Met
Zion and I met 4.5 years ago on NYE. We were both at a local lounge on the boardwalk in Asbury Park. He saw me first and sent me and my friend drinks, we had no idea as the bartender forgot to tell us this important detail. The evening continues and I see him from the corner of my eye. My friend goes and approaches him (without my knowledge) and she sends me over to talk to him. We took shots to get married and having babies- wild, I know! But here we are engaged, getting married, and going to have babies. He proposed with a cello player playing on Bow Bridge in Central Park. Just us two, intimate and romantic.
How They Asked
It was my brother’s gender reveal so I did not think anything of the day. He said let’s go to Central Park and hang out for a bit and go out to dinner. I’m always up for a good time so I said why not. We get to Central Park and I notice him acting weird and I immediately think, something is up. We get to bow bridge and he wants to record me walking across the bridge. I’m walking and I notice a cello player and he’s recording the cello player so now I really know something is up. He approaches me, grabs my hand spins me around and he’s on one knee!
