How We Met
Tyler and I went to Florida State University and were in the same co-ed business fraternity. Tyler was also in Kappa Alpha. Once we met, we found that we had so much in common and there was some initial spark. I was the one to initiate everything by inviting him to a basketball game and karaoke night.
Once he got the hint, he took me out on a double date. Things started to get serious pretty quickly. He asked me to be his date for the Old South formal, which is every college girl’s dream. We went on a snowboarding trip over spring break in Vail, Colorado and in the most beautiful little village there, he finally asked me to be his girlfriend.
How They Asked
We knew we were meant to be together forever very early in our relationship. Tyler and I have been doing long distance for my last semester in college. He started his job in Austin, TX and I spent my final spring break visiting him. We arrived on our one-year anniversary on March 13th. Three days later, he told me he was taking me to a nice dinner, but told me to be dressed quite early, so I got suspicious. He took me to Zilker Botanical Gardens and walked me straight to this beautiful waterfall. Once I noticed the photographer, I knew it was happening right then and there.
