How We Met
Josh and I went to high school together. He was a senior and I was a freshman. We would cross paths from time to time but we only knew of each other. Then I started working with his sister about 5 years later and she wanted to set us up. She secretly sent a text message to him asking if he was interested and he decided to reach out. His very first text to me was sent with fireworks (a setting on iPhone text) and I knew already that he was going to be amazing!
How They Asked
We go to Boothbay Harbor every year since we started dating. It was our 4th year and we got a perfect little Airbnb right on the water with a downtown view! The sun was setting and Josh took me down toward the water and when I asked if he was ready to head to dinner he said “first I have to do something first” and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! It was perfect!
