How We Met
Torre and I met at a restaurant. I was sitting at the bar while he was picking up food. Our eyes locked and I literally stared at him until he had no other choice but to approach me :). We exchanged info and the rest was history.
How They Asked
My father fell ill and passed away unexpectedly on December 26th. Torre and I had just moved into our first place together the month before and I was having a rough time. We had already planned to have a small gathering at our new place for New Year’s Eve and he persuaded me to still have our close friends and family over. He invited all of our friends and family and exactly at midnight he dropped to one knee and asked to marry him. It was literally the best moment of my life despite the grief I was feeling. I will always remember Jan 1st as the night my best friend asked to marry him.
