How We Met
Jordan and I met in our hometown three weeks before I was to move to Florence, Italy for a summer internship. The moment we met was pure magic. We had an instant connection and were inseparable for the three weeks before I moved halfway across the world. Halfway through my internship, I finally convinced Jordan to visit me in Italy even though we had only known each other less than two months.
He came to Italy for ten days and we rented a car to drive down the Amalfi Coast, where we said “I Love You” for the first time on the beach in Positano. We had the most amazing time in Italy and sadly he had to leave while I stayed to finish my internship. I returned home and our relationship kept getting stronger and stronger with each time that we saw each other. I surprised him this last Christmas with another European vacation to Denmark, Netherlands, Austria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.
how they asked
I had always dreamed of being proposed to in Europe and somehow Jordan was able to surprise me even though I tried to micromanage every aspect of the trip! He planned the most amazing proposal in front of Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen, Denmark- the first city in the Eurotrip. He got down on one knee with my dream Neil Lane ring and had a photographer to capture video and engagement pictures afterwards.
It was the most incredible way to begin a trip of a lifetime. We luckily ended the trip in Copenhagen as well so we were able to revisit the proposal site and spend more time there since we went straight to a photo shoot after the proposal. I cannot wait to marry my best friend and continue traveling the world with my future husband!! It was a true fairytale.
