How We Met
Caleb and I met through online dating 2 years ago in March. We quickly became close friends through texting, phone calls, and Skype. We didn’t meet in person until August 6, 2015 because we live 6 hours away from each other. I was extremely nervous, being that I was meeting someone that I had met online. We met on the street corner of my job and we instantly connected. On that same day, I walked the Brooklyn Bridge for the first time and I was terrified. We ended our first date at Brooklyn Bridge Park overlooking the water.

On April 14, 2016, Caleb and I had a nice picnic at Brooklyn Bridge Park. He then had me walk the Brooklyn Bridge for the second time as we continued to relive the first day we met. I was still terrified! When we got to the other side, he continued to stall until after going back and forth he took me to the first spot we met. He got down on one knee and I said, “Of course!” To my surprise, my family was there waiting to congratulate us.
