How We Met
We met during our freshman year of college in a 7:30 am chemistry lab, the day before Valentine’s Day. We walked back to the dorms together, with mainly me talking because I don’t think I he could get a word in. We didn’t talk or see each other again for a whole week, until the next lab. We walked back together again, tried to get lunch only for the dining hall to be closed. He still didn’t ask for my number or anything and we parted ways. So I took matters into my own hands, I made a Facebook account, found him on Facebook and then sent him a friend request. Within minutes, he messaged me and we set up a time for our first date. Where did we go? White Castle, my choice for our first date and I guess now the rest is history.
How They Asked
Well, we decided to move in together, so we were unpacking and putting away his clothes. It happened to be flurrying outside, so I put on an Alan Jackson Christmas vinyl, in true fashion for the two of us, and went on unpacking. I went into the bathroom to put something away and when I came out, he was down on one knee with the ring in his hand. Whenever I said yes, almost on cue, Walking in a Winter Wonderland starting playing. Considering that I had always wanted a Christmas time proposal and he’s the one that got to ask me, it was perfect.
