How We Met
He just got home from boot camp for the military and had a welcoming home party. My mom was good friends with his dad and invited us to the party. We hit it off right away but he was getting moved out to his base across the country for the military so we didn’t think much about building a relationship. He asked me to drive out to California with him from Iowa only after a few days of knowing each other but I couldn’t say no. We went on a 3-day road trip and the rest is history.
How They Asked
As we were on the beautiful island of Aruba the love of my life asked me to marry him. I had no idea this day was going to end up being one of the greatest days of my life. It was already amazing because we were one of the few people on this private island with flamingos, a once in a lifetime type of adventure in the first place and then it got a whole lot better. I said yes to the man of my dreams in a place that one would call paradise. I still can’t believe this is my life!!!
