Joey proposed to me about a year ago and ever since then I’ve been compelled to try and find a way to show him just how much he means to me. I know it’s not conventional or traditional, or logical considering we were already engaged… but how come every guy gets to have that moment and women never do?
I wanted to have my grand romantic gesture planned out, go through the stress of executing every detail, and getting those butterflies in my stomach right before it happened. We’ve spent 7 beautiful years together and this was such an important moment to celebrate that. I wanted to include all of his friends to reinforce how much I think being in a relationship is a team effort, I seriously couldn’t have done it without them.
