On the 5th anniversary of marriage equality, I took her to Atlanta Botanical Gardens, where we had our first date. I took her to the bridge where we had a very special kiss (that is on video) under the lights while “what a wonderful world was playing.” I got on one knee and proposed… I told her this is where I fell in love with her.
