How They Asked
Jess and I knew we wanted to marry each other the day we met. There was one minor problem though. Jess was about to move to Los Angeles, California, for a new job, and I was staying in Orlando, Florida to finish my degree. However, we knew we had something worth keeping. We conquered long-distance after about a year and we knew that as soon as we were together, a proposal wouldn’t be too far off.
On the first day of the new year and the new decade, Jess brought me to the Huntington Library and asked me to spend forever with her. With such a romantic backdrop and the love of my life kneeling before me, that “yes” was the easiest answer I have ever given. I can’t wait for forever with her.
