How We Met
Christina spotted Alissa working one evening while she was eating dinner with their son. She swore she was going to find a way to get to know her and nonchalantly informed one of Alissa’s co-workers in the bathroom that she “thought Alissa was hot and dug her tattoos”. Christina snuck out that day without confronting Alissa or being seen. Don’t worry, she went back the next day with a friend and as luck would have it, Alissa was their server that day! We credit and give thanks to some cute hashtags that Christina left on the bill. Alissa found a way to get Christina’s number from a mutual friend The rest is easy to depict.
How They Asked
Alissa reached out to me a week before their session letting me know she wanted to propose to Christina during their session. We came up with a plan, and I could not have asked for a better outcome. Alissa and Christina were willing to run around downtown Jacksonville from City Hall to the Main Street Bridge and finally to the rooftops with the beautiful skyline of Jacksonville. We started the session at a little church behind City Hall with beautiful tall pillars and an all-wooden door, making a perfect backdrop. We then made out way in front of city hall. Alissa and I came up with the idea of throwing confetti and when Christina turns around, she will be there, on one knee, asking her to marry her.
Oh, and did I mention SHE SAID YES! We then made our way to Main Street bridge for the beautiful blue of the bridge and then finally the rooftop of a downtown garage where they braved the heights for some beautiful pictures. I had so much fun running around Downtown Jacksonville with them, capturing their love and a memory they can cherish forever!
