How We Met
Zack and I met at a Toga function during my Freshman year and his Sophomore Year of college (slightly embarrassing haha). We bumped into each other randomly, and we ended up talking for the rest of the night! The rest is history! We have been together for almost 3.5 years! Our anniversary is December 23.
How They Asked
The morning of the proposal, my roommate planned brunch for some of our friends. We all hung out for the afternoon until I had to get ready for what I thought was dinner with Zack’s parents. Zack picked me up around 5:00 pm, and we headed to the restaurant.
We got sat down right away, and we were just talking for a minute before he asked me to come with him. We both got up and before I knew it, he was down on one knee. I couldn’t contain the happy tears! Following the proposal emotions and excitement, he told me that both of our parents were coming to dinner. The six of us had the best dinner before going down the street to a surprise engagement party where all of our friends and family were waiting to celebrate! It was absolutely magical!
I slightly expected it because we had been talking about marriage for a while, but I was completely thrown off the day of!
