How We Met
We met in Greenville. I was having dinner with some friends and he walked into the restaurant to use the restroom. We couldn’t keep our eyes off of each other. It was so strange. Kenny slid into the open booth next to me and introduced himself. We’ve been inseparable ever since. Love at first sight is the only way I will ever be able to explain it. The whole thing still blows my mind. I love listening to Kenny tell the story in the video.
How They Asked
Kenny’s close friends both went to school for photography and in the last three months they have started playing with video. They are an incredibly talented husband and wife duo starting a new business. The story was that they were having their first short film premiere at the theater in town. Kenny was the star of the film! He told me to invite everyone I knew so that the theater would be full for them. So I did! What I didn’t realize was that he was calling them shortly after I did to fill them in on the real plan. The turn out was incredible. The theater even ran out of standing room. Before the previews started Kenny sent me a text message saying that he was going to be late. The trailers started just like any other movie, and when they were over there was Kenny… on the screen, telling our story… MY heart stopped. I knew immediately what was happening. I couldn’t get the tears to stop. I think it is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me. In that moment I realized all of those people were there for us. I can’t wait to start my life with this man! He’s the best person I know.
