How We Met
Sam and I met my very first day of high school. We sat next to each other in Mrs. K’s Geometry class…little did I know I would be marrying this cutie 10 years later. Our friendship grew over the years and we went on our first date in September of my Junior year of high school and the rest is history.

I was down in Portland interviewing for a grad school. After I was done with the interview we decided to go to Multnomah Falls. Multnomah falls has had a special place in my heart since I was little and Sam and I had made a habit of hiking there whenever I was in town. It was absolutely pouring but we decided to make the hike anyways. We made it up to the bridge and were admiring the view and taking a few pictures when Sam suggested having someone take a picture of the two of us. As soon as they were about to snap a picture Sam got down on one knee and proposed. I was so surprised! Of course I said YES!
