How We Met
We have known each other since High School, but I didn’t want to get into a serious relationship until I graduated college.
How They Asked
I had no idea when Jonathan was going to ask. We were supposed to just go to dinner with my cousins on a normal Saturday night. We got to the restaurant early so we walked by the beach and all of a sudden I see a beautiful large heart made out of roses in the sand. I then said to him “ awww how cute it looks like someone is going to propose or got married” then all of a sudden he grabs my hand to follow him into the heart made of roses and he proposed in that heart, and I was completely shocked.
Then I see my friends and family come out from the bushes as they were hiding and watching the whole proposal take place.
Our wedding is on May 2, 2020, and we now have to postpone due to COVID-19. Attached are pictures of our proposal and our wedding postponement announcement that we had to add a little humor too.
