How We Met
Stephen and Hannah spent a week in the Bay Area traveling around and vacationing from Nashville. Hannah had NO idea what Stephen had planned for their last day. His last name is DeLoach and while he’s not positive if he’s related to the owners of DeLoach Vineyards, he knew it would be the perfect spot to ask Hannah if she wanted to change her last name to match his. It was adorable. I pretended to be at the winery photographing some things for them and because the Camp Fire had blasted our air quality, it made for EMPTY winery space and no one else was around. They found me in the garden and I casually asked if I could take some photos of them walking around a bit. Hannah suspected nothing. When we came upon a great vineyard row, I asked if they’d take a stroll down it for me so I could just grab a couple shots of SOMEONE in the vineyards. That’s when Stephen got down on one knee and asked Hannah if she’d like to change her name and match him. I cried, she cried. It was amazing. We then hung out and had a picnic and drank champagne before they headed in for a tasting. It was a magical afternoon!
