How We Met
We met on Tinder while at different colleges in the same town! We were drawn to each other’s adventurous photos and passion for trying new things. On our first date, we went to an Italian restaurant and sat at a romantic, candlelit dinner table next to a fireplace. According to him, he didn’t even plan it that way, it just worked out really well! Our conversation flowed wonderfully and we talked about our families, our favorite memories, and things we are passionate about. It was history from there!
How They Asked
In the morning, we went to a beautiful spot in Frisco, Colorado with mountain views. Mitch took his iPad out from behind him and told me to press play on a video. I cried as I watched a video montage that he made of all our family members (dogs included) telling us congratulations and that they’re so happy. It was adorable and so meaningful.
Then we drove a few minutes up to Sapphire Point Overlook to enjoy the scenery and take some photos. We walked from the parking lot to the Overlook area and Mitch began telling me everything I mean to him. He then got down on his knee and asked me to marry him! I said YES and with happiness flooding our hearts, we took in the stunning views. Then, Mitch pointed out the hidden photographer that he’d hired (shoutout Joe and Robin Photography) and we got an hour of engagement photos taken!
Overall, it was a beautiful moment. We got to commit our lives to each other in one of the world’s most beautiful locations. This really fit perfectly with our adventurous souls and love for Colorado.
