How We Met
John and I are high school sweethearts! We dated for about two years in high school and parted ways before going off to college. Fast forward fourteen years later… we reconnected in early 2020, just before the pandemic! We quickly fell back in love by spending lots of quality time together during Chicago’s shelter in place order.
When we first met in high school, we both were taken by how comfortable we were with each other- almost as if we had always known each other.
Then, when we reconnected, it was as if the whole earth shook! That same comfort with each other returned with ease. We knew we were in for something important.

As soon as I stepped off the boat I was overwhelmed with beauty and love. Our whole moment was so tender and thoughtful I know I will remember it for the rest of my life. In that one moment, our world completely changed and we couldn’t be happier!
The thought and care that John and his team put into such a meaningful moment were expressed through all the details. From the warm glow of the candles to the romantic floral display, I truly have never experienced something so beautiful. John even brought the original framed picture of us I gave to him for his birthday back in high school!
