How We Met
Well where do I start… Gina and I first met at a party and we were both into planning trips. We tried and tried to get a tripped planed but it always failed! I finally got her to go on a cruise with us, but the fact she wasn’t yet 21 we needed someone over 25, easy, right?! Well our friends mom backed out last minute and I did some research. Well the cruise line waived the 21 rule if they were married…I was able to find some documents and edited our names onto the marriage documents.
We bought some cheap rings from target for her, and I borrowed my brother’s back up band. We drove the 3 hours with 8 of our best friends and were nervous the entire trip. We finally get to the counter and they didn’t even question it. Well long story short, we had an amazing time as friends and just felt the connection.

4 years and 7 days later, I finally made the decision to let her know I was ready to spend the rest of my life with her. As a teacher and a football coach, we spend the last weekend together on a mini vacation. Well she was extremely upset when I sent her for a manicure with one of her best friends, who then took her for her 4 hour spa treatment. While this was all goin on I was able to play 9 holes of golf with some of my good buddies. I finished up my round and made the arrangements to check in at the hotel. I picked her up and walked her over to the hotel and let her know to be ready for dinner around 7. Well she got ready the fastest I have ever seen in my life and I was stuck, because her parents were to come get me at 6:45.
We sat there for a good 20 minutes with nothing to do, her parents let me know they were pulling in and I told her I left something in the car. I ran down, jumped in, and headed down to the park. Text after text she was wondering what was taking so long, finally I sent her my location on the phone and told her to come meet me. The moment she made her way down to me felt surreal, she was stunning. I promised her I would never stop loving her and will continue to grow with her until our last days. I got down on the knee and asked my beautiful fiancé to spend the rest of our lives together.
