‘Game of Thrones’ proposals
“We’re both big Game Of Thrones fans, so for us, getting engaged underneath ‘King’s Landing’ was so unique and cool and something we’ll never forget.”
“We got picked up for our Game of Thrones Locations Tour that took us from Dublin, Ireland to Northern Ireland close to Belfast. We visited locations from the show including Winterfell. During lunch at Paddy’s Barn, I secretly gave the ring to our tour guide Dorothy for her to give to the wolf owners…”
“We checked into a beautiful little Bed and Breakfast in Ballycastle that overlooked the North Atlantic Ocean and Rathlin Island. After getting settled, we decided to visit the Dark Hedges, a small street lined with whimsical-looking, intertwined beech trees which was used as a filming location for Game of Thrones. We walked about halfway up the street where we found a small group of American tourists who asked us to take a photo of them. We agreed and asked if they would return the favor.”
“I told Claire I was busy golfing in the morning when I was really at the winery, setting up pictures of us (including a proposal picture from the day we met), flowers, and a customized wedding themed Game of Thrones poster with our faces on our favorite characters.”
