How We Met
Aaron and I met in July 2014 when he was home in Halifax on leave from the military. My best friend/roommate knew Aaron and knew we would hit it off. Without telling either of us that it was a set up she told me we were meeting a couple of her friends out for a drink on my favourite patio and the rest is history.
Aaron went back to Edmonton for work and I stayed home in halifax to finish school. We did long distance for 9 months before I moved to Edmonton. We since have been posted back to the Maritimes and couldn’t be happier.
how they asked
It was Easter Sunday and we had just finished dinner. Everyone was just sitting around and chatting when Aaron got up and my dad got everyone’s attention (aaron had asked him for my hand that Friday) Aaron then told me and my whole family how much he loved me and how he couldn’t imagine not spending the rest of his life with me. He got down on one knee and proposed with the most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen.
We all popped champagne and invited our friends over to celebrate.
