How We Met
We met through a mutual friend in San Jose, CA. We were both unavailable at the time so we went two years without seeing each other. I was in between moving apartments and our mutual friend let me live in his apartment while he traveled for 3 months and I secured a new place. Scott happened to also live in the same apartment complex. We all went out bowling as a group and Scott and the rest of the group volunteered to help me move the next day. Needless to say, we hit it off and bonded over music, movies, making silly faces when we take photos, and life. He is the most thoughtful, caring, funny man I have ever met. Happy for our seven years together!
how they asked
Scott surprised me with a trip to Paris for Christmas this year. It was our last day in Paris and were running around seeing last minute sights. That night, we went to the top of the Eiffel Tower to get a last view of this beautiful city. We began to head down so we could catch the second to last light show and he begins to tell me how amazing this entire trip has been. He says “so guess what?” My thought was that he was able to extend our trip until New Years but then he gets down on one knee and says he’s loved me since he met me, wants to be together forever “will you marry me? Yes or No?” I was about to cry but he grabbed my right hand and that already had a ring; he was nervous and got confused. I started to crack up and said yes, oui, of course! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
