How We Met
Erica, as all smart girls do, played hard to get from the very beginning. It took weeks of begging, flowers, and a few other obscure offerings before she would ever agree to go on a date with Michael. The surprise orchids were what finally earned him a lunch date.

OUR FIRST DATE
For the first official date, Michael and Erica went on a short boat ride to watch the sunset in the Frederica River around Saint Simons Island.
how they asked
After a year and a half he planned a vacation for the two of them in Europe. Half way through the trip, while in Paris, Michael lured Erica to the back side of the Eiffel Tower where he had a photographer hiding in the bushes. Michael got down on one knee and stuttered more than spoke. Not one to waste time, Erica reached down and snatched up the ring out of the box and put it on her finger.
